Hello,

since photography has always played a large part in my life, on this blog I'm weaving together both of them. It's a documentation of my ongoing Gear Aquisition Syndrome and how it influences my everyday existence, and, well, vice versa. Some of these old photographic items just make good stories and I'm here for it.

I'm more of an afficionado and user than a technically minded collector, so you won't be getting studious reviews with all the data from me. There are others who can do that excellently. I will, however, provide copious examples of photos taken with the cameras that I have. That's why I collect them: the curiosity to see  how they handle and what they can do is strong with me.
